Dear colleagues,
It is an extraordinary honor to invite You to the 1st Scientific and Professional Meeting on Reptiles „REPTILIA” which will be held on May 25th - 26th 2018 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb. At the same time our traditional exhibition of reptiles, amphibians and spiders "Reptilomanija" in organization by the students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb will be held, and there will also be a visit to the Zoological Garden of Zagreb.
As exotic species reptiles are becoming nowadays more and more present in veterinary practice, it has become necessary to know their morphology, physiology, nutrition, pathology and treatment of diseases. Therefore, the purpose of this symposium is to provide as much information as possible about those animals, which would certainly contribute to a better understanding and exchange of experience among veterinary medicine practitioners as well as education of future doctors of veterinary medicine.

Official _languages of the meeting are Croatian and English.
April 10th 2018 – manuscript submission deadline.
Accepted manuscripts will be published in the Proceedings of Scientific and Meeting on Reptiles. Submitted manuscripts must not have been published or presented elsewhere. All manuscripts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and corresponding authors will be informed by April 25th 2018 if their submission has been accepted.
Submission of manuscripts: The full manuscripts should be submitted by e-mail as an attached Microsoft document (.doc or .docx) file to the e-mail address: reptilia@vef.hr until April 10th 2018.
Guidelines for authors: Full manuscripts can be written in Croatian or English. Manuscripts written in Croatian should provide at the end of the manuscript the Title, Abstract and Key words in English. Powerpoint presentations for oral presentations should be written in English. For poster presentations, just Abstracts can be submitted. Posters should not exceed 80 cm in width and 100 cm in length.
Full manuscripts should be written on 3 to 5 pages and contain: Title, Authors, Abstract, Key words, Introduction, Materials and methods, Results, Discussion and References. The manuscript can also be a review (without Materials and methods an Results). Posters should have just Title, Abstract and Key words.
